  • Works under general direction of the Regional Sales manager
  • Ensures revenue growth of Jost's mineral range to customer accounts in the assigned geographic territory through consultative selling and project management.
  • Markets: Healthcare: human & veterinary, Nutrition, Food supplements, Cosmetic, Specialty chemicals


  • Sells to new and existing customers, seeking to expand company's share in markets served, works cooperatively with colleagues to meet growth targets; develops and maintains customer relationships
  • Support the sales effort of an existing network of local distributors
  • Provide customers the necessary technical commercial support
  • Works closely with Sales team to provide useful forecasting data to Operations team
  • Facilitates development of new products by qualifying customer needs, documenting specifications and technical requirements, collecting market data
  • Performs as customer liaison for other organizational functional groups
  • Assists in establishing sales objectives and strategies for assigned territory
  • Represents the company at trade shows and conferences
  • Report to Jost market feedback and changes (competition, regulatory...)
  • Establish personal networks and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies; reviewing professional publications


  • Master degree in science-related field preferred
  • 3-7 years direct sales experience to chemical or nutritional industry accounts required or 3-7 years in a transversal function R&D or regulatory
  • International travel required; based in Belgium (Jost European offices) or France (home office)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Sales/marketing practices
    • Chemistry
    • MS Office computer package
  • Effective (being direct and concise, listening effectively) oral and written communications in English and French. An additional language (Italian or Spanish) would be appreciated.

  • Effectively use data to drive improvement
