Job Description:

Employee will be responsible of inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines, to ensure manufacturing of parts to specification. Responsibilities include:


  • Determine inspection requirements based on blue print and specification documents
  • Create CMM inspection programs with PC-DMIS
  • Analyze, update and troubleshoot inspection paths
  • Operate CMM machine to debug programs. Analyze and troubleshoot machine set ups
  • Ensure part inspection is consistent with specification, part number and revision level
  • Assist with verification, program issues, or updates needed on a promptly manner to ensure manufacturing of parts to specification
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action for process-related concerns
  • Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining quality management systems
  • Interact with Operations and Design groups to ensure parts are produced to specification
  • Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints
  • Maintain quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
  • Continuously improve inspection process and procedures
  • Participate of engineering team meetings and collaborate as needed
  • Provide status updates and documentation on assigned activities



  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar field is preferred, but not required
  • At least two years of experience as a CMM Programmer
  • Experience with PC-DMIS is required
  • Strong knowledge in print reading, specification document interpretation, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is required
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes is required
  • Must be proficient in using mathematical data
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and to meet deadlines is required 
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Must have strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Ability to read and understand regulations and procedures
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer software
