Position acts to develop and deliver a fully customized and integrated workflow that is built upon Mark Andy Digital Prepress Solutions for Mark Andy Digital Presses. This role will develop, administer and deliver a winning post-sale customer experience to Mark Andy Digital press customers.
Position will utilize customer knowledge, developed from pre-sale activities, and channel these into customized activities to on-board customer as press is installed. Key tasks include develop and execute customer specific workflow training (local and at customer site). This onboarding activity will ensure that customers optimize operations utilizing Mark Andy's Digital Hybrid Solutions. Work with clients to ensure they develop and use optimal digital workflows, media, coatings, press operations and more. Position will work with other functions at Mark Andy (Marketing, Service, Training, R&D...) to ensure customer-onboarding program is properly developed, to do this, primary tasks and deliverables include:
Develop, understand requirements and needs of customers by obtaining customers' test/demo files, match prints, substrates required.
Construct and Install Mark Andy ProWorx DFEs, complete with all Software and Software Licenses. Integrate this at Customer Site.
Provide Operator Training and Remote Support to Clients for Prepress, RIP and DFE. Ensure customers can provide print-ready files to digital presses, die makers, plate makers, others.
Use ESKO Software tools and Mark Andy Raster Imaging Processor (RIP) and digital front end (DFE) to produce files printed on the MA digital press (for: digital printing, Flexo plate separations, and dies,) develop and maintain Digital Pre Press, Ripping, DFE, Plate Making tools, Esko, Mark Andy DFE, Plate Making, ancillary.
Provides post-sales support for Mark Andy Digital clients.
Supports Field Selling, Trade Show and varied Marketing Activities, Supports R&D and other Engineering activities
Aid and participate in developing Digital Front End Solutions, Digital Pipeline, and Press Operator Interfaces.
Will operate press as needed to support end-to-end Solution Development, Testing and Certification.
Lead cross functional efforts to develop and refine Customer On-Boarding, to ensure we develop ability to routinely and methodically deliver a winning customer experience for every digital press customer. Coordination of efforts to develop training curricula's (pre-press and press operations and maintenance, converting and application development).
Qualifying in implementing new/other workflow solutions (e.g., solutions for variable data printing, alternative screening or color management, etc....)
Will Travel up to 85%. Can travel internationally.
Is flexible and can contribute where and when as needed.
Comfortable working for extended periods in a production environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: Can speak, relate, teach and interact well with production personnel and executive management. Must be detail oriented and well organized.
Adept in learning, using and developing Software Solutions.
Ability to operate production machinery, specifically digital printing devices integrated with analog material handling and converting functions.
Ability to teach others how to operate and leverage capabilities of full color digital printing equipment.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function of the position.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 7 years or more in a technical Graphic Printing discipline or digital press operations in L&P environment is highly desirable
Specialized Technical Training/Certifications in graphics management software including file management, color, and web to print are preferred.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in digital pre-press operations is required.

Digital File Management systems and software (Esko, Creo/Prinergy, LabelTraxx, EFI, Quark, various font managers).
Web to Print solutions

Operations of full color single pass digital printing equipment
Ability to set up, debug in limited timeframe to demonstrate equipment in trade shows.
Highly desirable is experience with high volume Inkjet printing equipment; press to plate equipment; knowledge of Variable Data workflows
