SUMMARY: Operates Heat Seal press, taking two separate components and making them into one.


  • Constantly checks and monitors quality of blisters and cards.
  • Records appropriate documentation.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Communicates non- conformance to lead operator and/or supervision.
  • Able to run machinery at acceptable speeds and scrap levels.
  • Able to perform daily preventive maintenance.
  • Able to change basic press tooling.
  • Keeps machine and area clean, performs housekeeping in the department.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all safety rules.
  • Able to troubleshoot mechanical or process control problems.
  • Able to distinguish between colors, hues and shades.
  • Any other duties determined by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Prefer high school education or a GED.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English.

OTHER SKILLS: Must be able to use a calculator and understand concepts of basic math. Must be familiar with basic small tools. Computer experience may be required.

CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Must pass safety control check sheet. LOTO awareness sign off sheet. Operator certification process is not applicable at this time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to push, pull, kneel, reach, sit, hear and see. Standing is required for long periods of time. Must be able to see fine detailing in finish product. Must be able to lift up to 35# on a frequent basis.

WORK ENVIROMENT: Employee may feel vibration from machinery. Noise levels can be at required PPE levels on machinery. No other negatives noted.
