Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health is seeking full-time Call Center Agents registers patients for medical appointments.


  • Manages a large volume of incoming appointment request calls in a timely manner
  • Works with minimal direct supervision
  • Identifies appropriate appointment times and dates based on customer need/request and provider availability
  • Interprets scheduling template for Providers
  • Participates in ongoing professional development training as required
  • Diffuses irate patients and show empathy addressing patient concerns
  • Adapts to changes on short notice and assist patients or Providers requests


A Successful Candidate:

  • Ability handling high volume of incoming calls to schedule patient appointments while paying close attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable of various computer systems
  • Type at least 30 words per minute
  • Friendly, empathetic phone presence
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow a script, if necessary



  • Education:  High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Experience: 
    • 1-2 years of experience handling a large volume of calls/requests required
    • 1-2 years of experience customer service required
    • 1-2 years of experience scheduling patient appointments required
    • Experience working in a clinical environment preferred
    • Other:  Must have reliable transportation.
