The Solutions Consultant (Business Analyst) is a member of the team responsible for architecting, configuring and managing project initializations for the Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions at DataServ.  This position is accountable for ensuring quality initializations while meeting project deadlines.  The Solutions Consultant (Business Analyst) juggles multiple projects simultaneously.   

The Solutions Consultant (Business Analyst) supports the Sales team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and acts as Tier 3 for escalation of client issues from the Client Support/Production Support groups.  

SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT Qualification and Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related area.
  • Master's degree/MBA preferred.
  • 4-6 years' experience in business analysis or other equivalent technical background.
  • Strong blend of technical aptitude, project management and communication skills.
  • Experience with direct external client interaction.
  • Comfortable giving presentations to all levels of management.
  • Experience managing multiple small projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with system testing and documentation.
  • Thorough understanding of full application development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing both technical and non-technical terms depending on audience.
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
