Description

We are seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to develop, maintain and grow Lewis & Clark Holdings' (LACH) investor base with high net worth, family office, and institutional investors. The position will be responsible for raising capital across a number of investment verticals (Venture Capital, Private Equity, Real Estate and some of the portfolio companies) and maintaining relationships with existing and potential investors. A successful candidate will have an existing network of investors that he/she can bring to the company, as well as an established track record of raising capital.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow our investor base of high net worth, family office, and institutional investors.
  • Initiate communication with investors with the goal of increasing awareness of LACH investment opportunities, as well as qualifying their suitability.
  • Control and optimize the entire investor acquisition funnel by developing and executing marketing and investor acquisition plans and programs.
  • As our brand ambassador, lead in person meetings with investors and speak intelligently about LACH investment opportunities to secure commitments of participation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, key strategic partners, and investors. Develop and attend specific investor-relations programs, meetings, industry events, etc.
  • Create online and offline marketing materials and lead growth and development of all marketing channels
  • Develop strategies to encourage new or increased contributions, track progress and report findings.
  • Create or update existing LP database (CRM)
  • Work closely with LACH's Investor Fund Administrator
  • Respond to investor data requests and prepare ongoing data content for investors
  • Prepare and maintain a database of due diligence information and investment summaries for investor presentations
  • Assist in the generation of quarterly and annual investor letters (which include a valuation and commentary for each fund) on behalf of the senior management
  • Plan for and participate in periodic meetings with investors
  • Travel with partners and other top-level team members to meet with current and prospective investors
  • Work closely with the entire fund management team, including the fund managers, controller, compliance, Principals, fund analysts and associates

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years professional experience raising capital from and managing relationships with high net worth, family office, and institutional investors for venture capital and private equity.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management cross-functionally and externally; ability make things happen quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in financial services, investment management, private banking, financial technology, commercial real estate, or a similar field
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to conduct first and follow up meetings with potential investors.
  • Strong project management and tracking ability to independently manage fundraising projects.
  • Financial skills to understand investment thesis, achievement and challenges on VC-and PE-funded portfolio companies.
  • Proven deep relationships within large family offices or other potential investors
  • BS/BA from accredited university in finance, economics, entrepreneurship, engineering or related field preferred.
