Field Service Technician

We are looking for an accountable Field Service Technician to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of printing equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Installation of equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and printing related problems in the field
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and printing related problems by phone
• Train customers on the safe and efficient use of equipment
• Provide preventative maintenance on all equipment and make recommendations to customers
• Proper documentation of all work required, including service reports, expense reports, installation feedback forms, and others as needed.

Qualifications

Ability to travel 90% of the time. Candidate must live within one hour of a major airport.

Ability to read basic electrical/mechanical and pneumatic diagrams

Capable of using multi-meter and micrometers

Excellent customer service skills

Basic computer skills

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Education/Experience Required

High School degree or trade school degree

1+ years electrical and mechanical experience

Flexo experience a plus
