Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Reports To: Production or Operations Manager
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Please note that this candidate would have the primary responsibility of all shipping and receiving within the Branch. They would also be crossed-trained as a Conveyor Belt Technician so that they're able to perform the functions of that position when they are not shipping and receiving.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required. Associates or Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred. Experience in shipping and receiving, conveyor belt maintenance, and/or inventory management preferred. Valid drivers license and the ability to multi-task required.
Positions requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, co-workers, customers and vendors.
Position requires ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read and understand a tape measure.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is preferred.
Position requires ability to understand and utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Experience with AS400 Systems a plus.
Valid drivers license required; This position requires regularly standing and reaching with hands and arms; occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crawling; Position also requires occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.

To highlight a few:
Medical Insurance: MIR pays 90% of the premium for employee-only coverage, leaving only 10% for the employee to pay for. We also offer family coverage and 10% of the premium is covered by MIR.
Long Term Disability: MIR pays 100% of the cost for each employee's long term disability coverage.
401k: MIR contributes 3% of an employees salary. The employee is not required to match or contribute to receive the MIR contribution of 3%.
Tuition Reimbursement: MIR reimburses up to 90% of tuition, after 1 year of employment, for Undergraduate AND Graduate education.
